Retired President Uhuru Kenyatta will on Monday chair a meeting of the Azimio la Umoja–One Kenya Coalition Council in a bid to reassess the opposition’s strategy amid evolving political landscape.
The meeting intends to bring together leaders of the opposition alliance to deliberate on the coalition’s political agenda and organisational matters.
Uhuru will preside over discussions expected to focus on strengthening the alliance, enhancing coordination among affiliate parties, and reviewing key policy and governance issues affecting the country.
Monday’s council meeting will also provide an opportunity for coalition leaders to discuss the way forward on ongoing national issues and reaffirm their commitment to advancing the coalition’s objectives ahead of future political engagements.
