Police officers attached to Mwiki Police Station have arrested a suspected drug trafficker and recovered 190 rolls of bhang during an anti-narcotics operation in Mwiki Township, Kasarani Sub-County.
The targeted operation, conducted by officers from the National Police Service, resulted in the recovery of the suspected narcotics believed to have been destined for distribution within the area.
The suspect was taken into custody at Mwiki Police Station and is being processed for arraignment in court.
The recovered bhang has been secured as an exhibit as investigations into the suspected drug distribution network continue.
The National Police Service said it remains committed to combating the trafficking and distribution of illegal drugs, while urging members of the public to continue supporting efforts aimed at protecting communities from the effects of drug abuse.
