ODM Opens Membership Registration Ahead of 2027 Party Primaries
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has opened a party membership registration and verification exercise ahead of its internal primaries for the 2027 General Election.
In a notice dated September 29, 2026, the party’s National Elections Coordinating Committee (NECC) urged supporters to register as members and existing members to verify their details ahead of the nomination contests.
“As we prepare for the forthcoming Party Primaries ahead of the 2027 General Election, the National Elections Coordinating Committee (NECC) encourages all Party supporters to register as Party members,” the notice stated.
ODM said new members can register by dialling 483036# or through the party’s membership website.
Those who are already registered have also been asked to confirm their membership status and ensure that their personal information has been correctly captured and remains up to date.
The party said membership registration will be a key requirement for participation in its upcoming primaries.
“Please note that only registered Party members will be eligible to participate in the Party Primaries, either as voters or aspirants,” ODM said.
The requirement applies to both supporters seeking to vote in the primaries and individuals intending to contest for ODM nominations.
The party has not indicated a deadline for completing the registration or verification process.
The exercise comes as ODM begins preparations for its internal nomination contests ahead of the 2027 General Election. The membership register is expected to play a central role in determining eligibility to participate in the party’s primaries.
By asking supporters to register and verify their details early, ODM is seeking to establish an updated membership database ahead of the nomination process and the wider 2027 electoral preparations.
