Former Kogi East Senator Emmanuel Dangana Ocheja, 74, has married 18-year-old Winifred in a series of wedding ceremonies held in Abuja, Nigeria.

Ocheja and Winifred began their wedding celebrations with a traditional ceremony held on September 13, 2026, at Golden Spring Estate in Lokogoma, Abuja.
The couple later exchanged vows in a white wedding ceremony on September 19 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Maitama, bringing together family members, friends and other invited guests.

Businessman Isaac Fayose was among those who publicly congratulated the couple. In a social media post, Fayose claimed that Winifred is the granddaughter of one of Ocheja’s close friends, a detail that has further fueled online discussion surrounding the marriage.
