Leading retailer, Naivas Supermarkets, has launched a new brand campaign dubbed “Naivas Ni Kwetu” as the retailer seeks to deepen its relationship with customers, local suppliers, and small businesses while reinforcing its position in Kenya’s competitive retail sector.
The campaign, unveiled at Greenspan Mall in Nairobi, marks the retailer’s 36 years in business and highlights its growing role in supporting local enterprise, job creation, and community development through partnerships with farmers, manufacturers, artisans, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The launch comes as the retailer continues to expand its national footprint, with more than 110 stores across the country, making it one of Kenya’s largest supermarket chains.
According to Naivas, the campaign is designed to showcase the importance of the entire retail value chain from producers and suppliers to employees and customers—in delivering affordable, quality products to millions of Kenyan households.
Speaking during the launch, Naivas Chief Commercial Officer, Jorsen Patten, said the campaign reflects the company’s long-term commitment to serving Kenyan families while strengthening the partnerships that drive its growth.
“Naivas Ni Kwetu reflects the heart of our business. It is a celebration of the people who have built this company together—our customers, employees, farmers, suppliers, and communities,” said Patten.
“For 36 years, Naivas has grown alongside Kenya, and this campaign is our commitment to continue serving Kenyan families with Fresh. Quality. Choice. Bei Poa, while strengthening the partnerships that make this journey possible.”

Every product stocked in its stores represents collaboration between farmers, manufacturers, distributors, entrepreneurs, and employees, making retail an important contributor to local economic activity.
Naivas noted that continued investment in local sourcing and supplier partnerships will help create more opportunities for Kenyan producers and SMEs while strengthening the country’s retail ecosystem.
The launch also featured a Supplier Showcase, where the retailer recognized supplier partners for their contribution in ensuring a consistent supply of fresh products, wider consumer choice, and competitive pricing.
Alongside the launch, Naivas hosted a Family Fun Day that brought together customers, employees, and their families in a move aimed at strengthening community engagement beyond shopping.
The campaign underscores the retailer’s strategy of growing alongside expanding communities while maintaining its focus on affordable pricing, quality products, and supporting locally produced goods.
This is even as the retail chain has promised continued investment in community partnerships, local enterprise, and customer experience as part of its long-term growth strategy.
