Two Kenyans Win KSh25 Million Each in Betika’s KSh50 Million Jackpot

Two Kenyans have become the latest millionaires through Betika’s KSh50 million Must Be Won Jackpot, walking away with KSh25 million each after correctly predicting 13 of the 15 matches.

Peter Gachau, a 45-year-old farmer from Murang’a County, and Raban Ngatia, a 46-year-old businessman based in Narok, emerged as joint top scorers at the end of the eight-week competition.

The two participants shared the guaranteed KSh50 million prize after recording the highest number of correct predictions in the latest jackpot cycle.

For Gachau, the win marks a major milestone for a man whose life has largely revolved around farming and family.

Originally from Kangari in Murang’a County, he currently lives in Embakasi, Nairobi, with his wife, Caroline, and their three children: a 15-year-old daughter and two sons aged 10 and six.

Speaking about his win, Gachau said he was still coming to terms with the life-changing reward.

“I am still trying to take it all in. I have always enjoyed following football and testing my knowledge through the jackpot, but I never imagined I would eventually become a millionaire from it.

“KSh25 million is a huge blessing for my family and me. It gives us an opportunity to improve our lives, secure our children’s future and make plans that previously seemed out of reach. I am grateful to Betika for this opportunity,” he said.

For Ngatia, who operates a business supplying wooden doors from Narok to Kisii, the windfall presents an opportunity to secure his family’s future and explore new investments.

Married to Leah Wanjiku and a father of three young children, Ngatia described the win as a memorable moment for his family.

“I am extremely happy. As a businessman, I understand the importance of hard work and making the right decisions, and this win is something I never saw coming.

“I have been following the jackpot and making my predictions, but to finally walk away with KSh25 million is an incredible feeling. My biggest priority is my family, and this money will give us an opportunity to build a more secure future and explore investments that can benefit us for years to come,” he said.

Speaking about the double win, Betika Head of Brand Eric Mwiti congratulated the two winners, describing their success as an example of the opportunities offered through the jackpot.

“We are delighted to celebrate Peter and Raban as our newest Must Be Won Jackpot millionaires. Their stories demonstrate the possibilities that come with the jackpot, and we are proud to see two customers walk away with KSh25 million each.

“At Betika, we remain committed to creating exciting entertainment experiences while rewarding our customers through innovative products, while at the same time encouraging responsible play.

“We congratulate both winners and their families on this remarkable milestone and encourage them to approach their winnings with a long-term perspective,” Mwiti said.

The Must Be Won Jackpot features a guaranteed KSh50 million prize pool awarded to the participant or participants with the highest number of correct predictions at the end of an eight-week competition period.

In the event of a tie, the prize is shared equally among the top-scoring participants, ensuring that the jackpot is always won.

The latest payout adds Gachau and Ngatia to the growing list of Kenyans who have won big through the product, marking the fourth cycle in which new millionaires have emerged.
