Optiven Partners with Promitto to Simplify Home Construction

Real estate firm Optiven Limited has partnered with Promitto Ltd to help landowners access construction financing, professional project management and building services in a move aimed at simplifying the journey from land ownership to homeownership.

The two companies have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to connect land acquisition with property development, enabling customers who purchase plots through Optiven to access services that support the construction of their homes.

Optiven Chief Executive Officer George Wachiuri said the partnership would help address challenges faced by landowners who have purchased plots but lack the financing and professional support needed to begin construction.

“Our goal is to make the journey from land ownership to homeownership easier by connecting our customers with the financing, expertise and professional services they need to build their homes. Through our partnership with Promitto, we want to help more landowners turn their dream of owning a home into reality,” Wachiuri said.

Under the agreement, Optiven customers will have access to tailored construction financing options, project management services and professional building solutions designed to guide them through different stages of the construction process.

The collaboration seeks to address common challenges in residential development, including access to construction funds, project planning, contractor coordination and the management of building costs and timelines.

Through the partnership, customers will be able to explore financing options and access professional guidance to help them plan and manage their construction projects.

The arrangement also brings together the companies’ respective services to provide a more coordinated property development experience, allowing customers to move from purchasing land to planning and executing construction.

For many landowners, acquiring a plot is only the first step towards homeownership, with the cost of building often delaying plans to develop their properties. Access to financing and professional construction support can help address some of these barriers.

The partnership reflects efforts within the real estate sector to expand customer services beyond land sales by linking property acquisition with financing and construction solutions.

Optiven and Promitto aim to streamline the homebuilding process by bringing these services closer to customers, providing additional support as they work towards completing their residential projects.
