Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) are once again the queens of Kenyan volleyball after successfully defending the 2025/26 Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) Women’s National League title with a commanding 3-0 victory over Kenya Prisons in the decisive third match of the finals.
The Oilers secured the championship with set scores of 25-22, 25-23 and 25-22, completing a remarkable comeback after losing the opening match of the best-of-three series to retain the national crown.
The victory caps another outstanding season for Geoffrey Omondi’s side, who have set the standard in Kenyan women’s volleyball throughout the campaign.
Pipeline finished top of the regular-season standings, consistently demonstrating the depth, discipline and winning mentality that have defined the club for decades.
Their dominance continued in the playoffs, where they swept DCI in straight sets in both semi-final matches to book their place in the finals without dropping a single set.
Although Kenya Prisons drew first blood by winning the opening match of the finals, the defending champions responded with the composure and experience expected of serial winners.
Pipeline won the next two matches to retain the league title, reaffirming their status as the team to beat in Kenyan women’s volleyball.
