TECNO has officially launched the POVA Curve 2 5G in Kenya, introducing a premium smartphone designed for young professionals, entrepreneurs, content creators and gamers.

TECNO says the POVA Curve 2 5G addresses one of the biggest trade-offs in smartphone design by combining an 8,000mAh Mega Battery with a sleek curved body measuring just 7.42mm thick and weighing approximately 195g.
According to the company, this makes it the world’s slimmest smartphone with an 8,000mAh battery, allowing users to enjoy extended battery life without carrying a bulky device.

Built for Performance
The POVA Curve 2 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G processor, delivering smooth multitasking, gaming and video streaming.
The smartphone comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage, complemented by 256GB of complimentary TECNO Cloud storage for three years, giving users additional space to store photos, videos and important files.
Reliable Connectivity and Enhanced Protection
To improve network performance, the device features G1 and SE1 Dual Enhanced Signal Chipsets, which TECNO says help maintain stronger connectivity in areas with weak signal coverage, including lifts, underground parking and crowded environments.
The smartphone also supports 5G connectivity and eSIM technology, offering users greater flexibility when accessing mobile networks.
For security and convenience, the POVA Curve 2 5G includes both Face Unlock and Fingerprint Unlock. It is backed by a 180-day broken screen warranty and a 12+1-month device warranty, providing added peace of mind against accidental damage.

The TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G is now available for purchase and pre-order through official TECNO retail stores, authorised dealers, operator partners, online platforms and the company’s official website.
Customers can secure a pre-order with a KES 2,000 deposit, while the smartphone has a recommended retail price of KES 59,999.
