The upgraded zero-app Smart Switch utility enables complete iOS-to-Galaxy migration wirelessly using a simple QR code scan on the source device. Smart Switch now handles complex data transfers natively, carrying over passkeys, saved credentials, call histories, custom accessibility configurations, and active eSIM profiles. Furthermore, Quick Share now offers full, bi-directional wireless file transfer compatibility with AirDrop, allowing seamless high-resolution transfers between iOS devices and the new Galaxy Z lineup.
Power users will also benefit from a productivity suite headlined by a six-month complimentary subscription to Google AI Pro, which includes 5 TB of high-speed cloud storage to maximize multitasking on the main display. On-device management is streamlined through the One UI 9 Warranty and Care Settings Hub, which centralizes self-diagnostics, remote support, warranty details, and Samsung Care+ plans into one menu. The line is anchored by the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, priced at KES 271,000 for 12GB+256GB, KES 297,100 for 12GB+512GB, and reaching KES 349,300 for the maximum 16GB+1TB tier. The standard Galaxy Z Fold8 enters the market at KES 243,900 for 12GB+256GB, KES 270,000 for 12GB+512GB, and KES 322,200 for 16GB+1TB. For the foldable clamshell category, the Galaxy Z Flip8 is available at KES 159,200 for 12GB+256GB and KES 185,300 for 12GB+512GB.
